Currently a fourth year undergraduate student studying French and conducting neuroscience research in Paris, I was inspired to create this blog in the steadfast belief that every man can harness their inner beauty without having to succumb to the fashion industry and societal quos. Having lived in 5 different cities in my life, I have come to value and appreciate diversity in fashion and identity. Fashion has always been an integral part of my being but have never really pursued it until now. Writing and photography are my two hobbies that I have never gotten to harness in my undergraduate career. This website is a remarkable way to showcase these skills and create a platform to inspire others. I am currently in search of inspiration everywhere: the metro, university, research lab, grocery store etc. I hope that I can inspire others who come across this website and help them become their own kind of man.

I am a budding pharmacy student from Hobart, in the southernmost state in Australia, Tasmania. Europe is a massive eye-opener for me, there are such immense cultural differences, however underneath that it has a distinct aura of familiarity and comfort. As well as having a larger population, Europe has a vastly larger fashion industry than in Australia, something which I have admired from afar, and now something that I am a part of. After meeting Kent, I was thrilled at the opportunity to be a part of his team on this blog! I really admire and share his passion about clothing and the way we present ourselves in the modern world.What we put on our backs in the morning, night or any time of day, is a look through the window that shows other people something we can't describe in any other way except visually. If eyes are the windows to the soul, the way we present and dress ourselves is the frame in which the glass sits.

I am currently a third year at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying biology and dietetics with a minor in global health. I joined this team to help redefine men’s fashion as we diverge from expectations circulating the media on how men should dress. I live in the East Coast and fashion surrounds me everyday. Fashion is an essential component of my character because its a silent form of expression that is often times disregarded by those who have little knowledge or interest in clothing. I hope that through showcasing my interpretation of menswear, you can learn more about me, but most importantly know that the term “menswear” is evolving.
